Owner & Escrow Officer
Mike Lang, a 1976 graduate of Texas A&M University and owner of the company, spent most of his business life on the opposite side of the closing table. From 1982 until 1997, Mike was a lending officer with NBC Bank of San Antonio, which is now Bank of America. The majority of that time he served as a commercial real estate lender in the San Antonio and Boerne markets.
In February 1997, Mike joined KCAC and took on the responsibilities of upgrading and maintaining the company’s escrow, plant and operating systems. Due to his previous relationships with local real estate professionals, Mike also concentrates on calling on the local realtors, builders, developers and lenders.
Manager & Escrow Officer
Ashlee Pfeiffer, who currently serves as the manager of Kendall County Abstract, joined the company in 2000. A 1997 graduate of San Angelo State University, Ashlee, in addition to managing the company, is an escrow officer and handles numerous closings. Her attention to detail makes her closings run smoothly and efficiently. Her good humor and enthusiasm for life is contagious.
Ashlee says, “I love working with people and helping them accomplish their real estate purchases or sales.” Ashlee has great back up support and shares her work load with Bonnie Scott and Stella Hooker.
Tiffany Boerner is a Boerne native and has also been in the title business her entire professional career. She entered the title business in May 1999 as a receptionist at a title company in nearby Fredericksburg and quickly worked her way to escrow assistant. A short two years later, Tiffany became an escrow officer, where she gained valuable experience as a closer.
In 2003 she joined Kendall County Abstract as an escrow assistant and in 2007 a closing position became available, and Tiffany was selected to fill that role. She enjoys the fact that she is able to help those in the community with their dream of home ownership. Tiffany’s escrow assistant is Chrissy Scheele.
Bob Martin is a title industry veteran who has spent his entire professional career in the title business. Bob’s family was involved in the title business in McAllen, so Bob was introduced to the business while still in high school. Upon graduation, Bob decided this was the career path he wanted to take and has never faltered from that path.
He spent almost 20 years with the family firm in McAllen before deciding to move his family to the Texas Hill Country. Bob joined Kendall County Abstract in 2005 and now manages the title plant for the company. Bob’s plant team consists of Brenda Pope and Kim Hesley.
